Housing Policy 11
HP11 permits conversion of rural buildings to dwellings with modest subordinate extensions that do not adversely affect the character or interest of the building, but states 'further extension of converted rural buildings will not usually be permitted, since this would lead to loss or reduction of the original interest and character'. The officer assessed the proposal as compliant due to modest scale, no change to height/outline, turfed roofs minimising impact, and modern contrast design on the remote site's western elevation, despite prior extensions.
Time limit
The development hereby permitted shall commence before the expiration of four years from the date of this notice.
