General Policy 2
GP2 permits development in accordance with land-use zoning if it respects the site and surroundings in terms of siting, layout, scale, form, design and landscaping, and does not adversely affect the character of the surrounding landscape or townscape or amenity of local residents. The officer tested the satellite dish's siting under the carport, finding it acceptable as the majority would be screened with limited visual impact from public views. No tensions arose as the proposal met the policy tests for a minor residential feature.
Time limit
The development hereby permitted shall commence before the expiration of four years from the date of this notice.
