Environment Policy 35
Policy requires that within Conservation Areas, only development preserving or enhancing the character or appearance of the Area is permitted, protecting special features from inappropriate development. The officer tested the replacement door against this, noting the existing door is not original and the proposal has similar glazing proportions, judging it preserves the character on balance.
Time limit
The development hereby permitted shall commence before the expiration of four years from the date of this notice.
