ObjectionI object to the application on the basis that I consider the LED strips within the decorative lighting columns to (1) fail the statutory test in section 16 of the Act as it would not preserve the setting of Registered Building 31; I would strongly urge the applicant to alter the proposals so that these decorative columns are omitted in preference for the standard columns proposed elsewhere.; the removal of the two light columns with LED light strips and their replacement with standard lighting columns is sufficient to remove my objection to the application.
