Officer assessed the fascia and projecting signs as meeting these tests due to similarity to existing signage, internal static illumination, and location 2.6m above street in shopping streetscene. Highways no objection confirmed safety aspect.
General Policy 7
Prohibits advertisements on sites/buildings other than those they relate to. Not an issue here as signage relates directly to the Monsoon Accessorize retail unit on site.
Time limit
The development hereby permitted shall commence before the expiration of four years from the date of this notice.
Approved drawings
This approval relates to the installation of signage as shown in drawings 5536Doug(M)002.1, BDC-DOUGLAS(D)-SS1-L001, BDC-DOUGLAS(D)-SSD-L003 and BDC-DOUGLAS(D)-SSD-L004 all received on 10th October, 2013 and the development must be undertaken in accordance with these drawings.
