Housing Policy 15
Requires extensions or alterations to existing traditionally styled countryside properties to respect proportion, form and appearance of the existing property, with permission only exceptionally over 50% of existing floor space. Officer measured proposed extension floor space as significantly less than 50% and found it minor, unobjectionable in form/design, thus compliant. This was the starting point and key test for the rural dwelling extension.
