General Policy 2 from Isle of Man Strategic Plan 2007 governs general development control. Officer assessed the parking creation as compliant since it would not adversely affect visual amenities of the locality despite loss of minor grassed area visible from highway.
Transport Policy 7
Transport Policy 7 sets parking standards. Proposal provided 65-68 spaces vs required 74 for office floorspace, but officer accepted shortfall due to long-standing tandem parking operation without issues and benefits in reducing on-street parking.
Time limit
The development hereby permitted shall commence before the expiration of four years from the date of this notice.
