Environment Policy 35
EP35 states that within Conservation Areas, the Department will permit only development which would preserve or enhance the character or appearance of the Area, and will ensure that special features contributing to the character and quality are protected against inappropriate development. The officer tested the front elevation replacements, noting they are very similar to existing non-original uPVC units with a marginal improvement, thus preserving character without loss of special features.
Time limit
The development hereby permitted shall commence before the expiration of four years from the date of this notice.

No objection but would like to see sliding sash as the cottage is situated in a conservation area.
