General Policy 2
General Policy 2 permits development in accordance with land-use zoning and other policies provided it respects the site and surroundings in terms of siting, layout, scale, form, design and landscaping, and does not adversely affect the character of the surrounding townscape. The officer assessed the roof replacement against criteria b) and c), finding the proposal acceptable due to matching colour and pitch, low visibility from the highway, and no adverse impact on the street scene.
Time limit
The development hereby permitted shall commence before the expiration of four years from the date of this notice.
