Addendum to the Officer’s Report
At the committee meeting of the 28/04/25 - members approved the application but sought
amendments to the conditions to ensure the listed equipment is installed as per the application
drawings and that the method of affixing to the building is robust enough to withstand storm force
winds to address concerns from residents following their representation at committee . As such the
following conditions are proposed to be attached;
C4. Prior to the installation of the mobile antennas hereby approved, the method of fixing and
details of how the mobile equipment will be secured to the wall of the building shall be submitted
and approved in writing by the department and retained in perpetuity.
Reason : To ensure the mobile antenna equipment is adequately secured to the building against
wind loading to prevent any deviation of the equipment leading to potential hazards.
C5. The application here by approved shall be installed in accordance with drawing referenced 106-
A and the written details as part of the submission, noting the mobile antenna technology type and
equipment as considered as part of this application.
Reason: To ensure appropriate use of the mast for telecommunication equipment.
