General Policy 6
Permits external advertisements within towns and villages if high standard of design and materials relating well to the building and site, in keeping with surroundings, and not causing highway safety hazard. Officer assessed signage as visually acceptable for the building and location, with no highway hazard.

Time limit
The advertisement(s) hereby granted consent shall be begun before the expiration of four years from the date of this notice. Reason: To avoid the accumulation of unimplemented advertisement consents.

The signage illumination hereby approved can only be illuminated during the hours of operation of the premises and will be turned off when the building is not in use. Reason: to reflect the need for the illumination and illumination outside of the buildings opening hours would be unwarranted, and in the interest of protecting rural character and dark skies.

The sign(s) hereby granted consent shall not be lit by an intermittent source. Reason: In the interests of amenity and/or public safety.
