Erection of agricultural shed

After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking as the site is off a rural single track lane with slow moving traffic and can keep traffic movements internally within the site rather than moving livestock/equipment further afield.

I support this planning application (subject to compliance with the cattle welfare code and meeting BS5532) and encourage its approval, recognising the value it brings to the agricultural sector and the local community.; the shed design must meet the ventilation performance standards required under BS5532 if it is to be used to house livestock.; Isle of Man Welfare Code for Cattle (May 2006) should be taken into consideration, particularly the section on ventilation
