Hi Helen, Dawn,
From the Planning List 8 March 2024 and excluding planning applications with suffix ‘CON’ and re- consultations, the following new planning applications have highway related impacts and will be subject to a separate response:
· 24/00194/B · 24/00209/B · 24/00214/B · 24/00221/B
The following planning applications have no significant negative impact upon the highway network in terms of highway safety, highway operation and car parking. Highway Services HDC does not oppose (DNO) the following applications. Advisory comments are applied where relevant, such as for licences to use the highway for equipment and material during works:
· 24/00195/D - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking, providing the signs do not have illumination that flashes, nor provides strobe lighting effects, nor has green or red lighting effects (due to being behind traffic signals) - this should be conditioned on permission. · 24/00201/B - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking. · 24/00208/D- After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking. A S109 highway agreement will be required for any extended dropped kerb. · 24/00211/C - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking as the development is relatively small and the vehicular access has suitable visibility exiting the site onto the A3. · 24/00212/D - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking. · 24/00213/D - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking, providing the board is set back up against the low wall or rear boundary wall - the applicant should confirm this is the case. · 24/00215/D - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking. · 24/00217/B - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking as the existing access is suitable for the proposals, subject to accommodation remaining ancillary to the main dwelling. · 24/00219/D - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking. However, the applicant should make sure he has rights to overhang the rear path with the proposed roof edging and this does not effect neighbouring properties title deeds and rear access.
