GP2 permits development in accordance with zoning and other policies if it respects site/surroundings in siting, layout, scale, form, design; does not adversely affect landscape/townscape character; incorporates topography/landscape features; provides satisfactory amenity and access. Assessed against provisions b, c, e, g; satisfied as proposal improves industrial appearance without adverse effects in isolated estate context.
Environment Policy 2
Protects HLCVSS character unless development does not harm landscape quality/character or location is essential. Inspector concluded proposal would not harm character/quality of landscape in this part of HLCVSS, as re-cladding improves estate appearance; existing building detracts due to poor cladding.
Time limit
The development hereby permitted shall commence before the expiration of four years from the date of this notice.
Approved drawings
This approval relates to physical alterations to industrial unit, as shown in drawing no.12/938/2 and 12/938/3, both received on 12th July 2012.
