Description: Change of use from light industrial to a laundry business
Highway Comments: The proposal would involve customers visiting the laundrette, ironing and dry cleaning
facility on the site. The applicant would do a pick-up and delivery service for both commercial and domestic
customers. The application states there would be at least 1 staff member present on the site at any given time
and it is anticipated that more staff than this would be likely a lot of the time. There would be 6 washers and 6
dryers in the unit for public use.
The applicant states that there would be up to 6 site car parking spaces to serve the development and in the
absence of any other information from the applicant, it is considered likely that this would be sufficient to serve
the development.
Highway Services does not oppose the application.
