General Policy 2
General Policy 2 of the Isle of Man Strategic Plan 2016 permits development in accordance with land-use zoning if it respects site and surroundings in siting, layout, scale, form, design; does not adversely affect landscape/townscape character; and does not adversely affect amenity of residents or locality character. The officer assessed the bike shelter's siting at the school entrance, finding it fitting within the school setting, screened by trees, with minimal neighbour impact, thus compliant. The site is zoned Schools in the Ramsey Local Plan.
Time limit
The development hereby approved shall be begun before the expiration of four years from the date of this decision notice. Reason: To comply with article 14 of the Town and Country Planning (Development Procedure) (No2) Order 2013 and to avoid the accumulation of unimplemented planning approvals.
