Housing Policy 15
Housing Policy 15 states that the extension or alteration of existing traditionally styled properties in the countryside will normally only be approved where these respect the proportion, form and appearance of the existing property, with extensions over 50% floor space only exceptionally permitted. The officer assessed the portico as a minor addition that respects the proportion, form and appearance of the traditional two-storey dwelling. No floor space increase beyond 50% was indicated, and the design was found appropriate.
Time limit
The development hereby permitted shall commence before the expiration of four years from the date of this notice.
