E ADDITIONAL PROPOSED ALTERATIONS TO EXISTING GATES AND WALL TO ENTRANCE OF PROPERTY
E1 This application seeks approval to replace the existing modern and poor quality gated entrance to the property with new painted steel gates in a more consistent traditional style. The iron railings either side of the gates would also be replaced (being in very poor condition); the replacement gates and railings would be fabricated to match the existing railings; the modern railings fronting the adjacent Lodge would also be removed. Schematic drawing (right) provided by fabricator. NB stone gate posts and low walls to remain in place.
E2 Modern stone boundary wall built by previous owners to be carefully removed and stone retained where possible for reuse in other areas. Extent of demolition indicated in photograph.
