E ADDITIONAL PROPOSED ALTERATIONS TO EXISTING GATES AND WALL TO ENTRANCE OF PROPERTY

- E1 This application seeks approval to replace the existing modern and poor quality gated entrance to the property with new painted steel gates in a more consistent traditional style. The iron railings either side of the gates would also be replaced (being in very poor condition); the replacement gates and railings would be fabricated to match the existing railings; the modern railings fronting the adjacent Lodge would also be removed. Schematic drawing (right) provided by fabricator. NB stone gate posts and low walls to remain in place.
- E2 Modern stone boundary wall built by previous owners to be carefully removed and stone retained where possible for reuse in other areas. Extent of demolition indicated in photograph.
