O on 11/04/17 Conditions (if any) This application is the same as a previous application 16/01297/C to change the use of a unit within a business park from light industrial to an out of school care facility that was granted permission although Highway Services objected on the basis that there wasinsufficient parking provision. The application contains no details regarding the number of staff or children; however it appears that the applicant wishes to use the unit on the same basis as that approved for unit D6 and that this application for unit D2 replaces the previous application. The parking situation has not altered since the previous application and the use of the facility during the school holiday periods for all day care will increase the demand on parking. It is feasible that both of these applications could be taken up and run concurrently significantly increasing pressure on the parking provision. Highway Services recommends that this application is refused on teh basis that it does not provide sufficient car parking provision as required by the strategic plan. It should be noted that there is currently an application for a change of use of unit D1 that will also require more
