Design Examples and History

In the replacement house we want to achieve a house in keeping with our barn and houses in the North of the Island, some examples are:

Known planning history

Planning permission was granted to the previous owners to replace the windows 12/00781/B Planning permission was granted to the previous owners to convert the barn to a 4 bedroom house. Reference 10/01616/B. This has now lapsed and we are using it as a barn. Prior to this time we don’t know the planning history, but know new owners moved in and renovated in 1967.

Neighbouring properties

To the east is the road, to the south and west is a smallholding used regularly by it’s owner who lives in Ramsey (there isn’t a dwelling on the smallholding). To the North is a farm belonging to and lived in by my (KT) parents. There are no other properties overlooking any of our property.
