# Design Examples and History

## In the replacement house we want to achieve a house in keeping with our barn and houses in the North of the Island, some examples are:

## Known planning history

Planning permission was granted to the previous owners to replace the windows 12/00781/B Planning permission was granted to the previous owners to convert the barn to a 4 bedroom house. Reference 10/01616/B. This has now lapsed and we are using it as a barn. Prior to this time we don’t know the planning history, but know new owners moved in and renovated in 1967.

## Neighbouring properties

To the east is the road, to the south and west is a smallholding used regularly by it’s owner who lives in Ramsey (there isn’t a dwelling on the smallholding). To the North is a farm belonging to and lived in by my (KT) parents. There are no other properties overlooking any of our property.
