Roofing and tile hanging samples
PRIOR to the commencement of works, a sample of the roofing and tile hanging tiles must be approved by the Planning Authority. The tiles are to match the existing in respect of material, colour, texture and size.
Brick samples
PRIOR to the commencement of works, a sample of the bricks must be approved by the Planning Authority. The bricks are to match the existing in respect of material, colour, texture and size.
Photographic survey
PRIOR to the commencement of any building works, a photographic survey must be undertaken to record all existing internal and external features of interest and provided for approval by the Planning Authority; such a record to be prepared in consultation with the Conservation Officer of the Department.
Window schedule and details
PRIOR to the commencement of any building works, a schedule of the proposed windows is to be drawn up. The schedule is also to include, large scale (1:10) detail drawings of the proposed windows to the extension to indicate the framing detail, material and glazing bar profiles. This is to be provided for approval by the Planning Authority.
Skirtings, architraves, internal doors details
PRIOR to the commencement of any building works, further large scale (1:10) detail drawings of the skirtings, architraves and all new internal doors are to be provided for approval by the Planning Authority.
Window cills details
PRIOR to the commencement of works, further details of the proposed cills are to be supplied and approved by the Planning Authority. The applicant should discuss this with the Department's Building Conservation Officer.
