5 December 2011 · Development Control Manager (delegated under Article 3(13) of the Town and Country (Development Procedure) Order 2005)
West Kimmeragh, West Kimmeragh Road, Bride, Isle Of Man, IM7 4ba
The proposal involves demolishing an existing poor-condition dome-roofed open-sided agricultural building (22.5m x 8m) and replacing it with a smaller pitched-roof shed (9m x 18m, 5.8m ridge height) finished in green sheeting with sheeted walls and roller shutter doors, sited to the rear within the farmyard.

The building replaces an existing structure in poor repair, positioned further from public view, resulting in an environmental improvement.
Environment Policy 15
Policy allows new agricultural buildings in countryside where need outweighs general restrictions, sited close to existing groups, appropriate in scale, materials, colour, siting and form to be sympathetic to landscape. Officer assessed the replacement shed as compliant due to its location within the farmyard, smaller size, and materials (green sheeting), improving upon the existing structure without adverse impact.

The development hereby permitted shall commence before the expiration of four years from the date of this notice.
