The Secretary to the Planning Committee Planning & Building Control Division Department of Environment, Food & Agriculture Murray House Mount Havelock DOUGLAS
10th September 2020
Dear Sir/Madam
Following consideration of the planning applications listed below, I can advise that Douglas Borough Council has no objections.
It should be noted that the comments are made in relation to the Town and Country Planning Acts and does not imply approval or consent under any other relevant enactment, byelaw, order or regulation.
The Council has written for additional information in relation to the above regarding clarity on the type of unit that will be installed. This is specific to whether the charging units are single phase or three phase. It would be appreciated if the applicant could clarify this point and explain the difference in charging times between single phase and three phase power.
Although this may not be a material planning concern it could be viewed as being more beneficial to have three phase if possible as this could potentially reduce the charging times for vehicles which would allow more vehicles to be charged within any 24hr period.
Yours sincerely,
S Salter Dilapidation Enforcement Officer Direct Line: 01624696394 E mail: [email protected]
