Conditions requested: The proposed building must be drained in accordance with the requirements of the Sewerage & Water Authority, Drainage Division; Disposal of domestic surface water via a private soakaway, located within the property boundary, which must be in accordance with Part H of the Building Regulation. A necessary percolation test must be undertaken and witnessed by Douglas Corporation Building Control Officer; If ground conditions are not suitable, then the applicant will be required to contact the Douglas Borough Council's Drainage Section to discuss the matter further. The method of surface water disposal must then be agreed with the Borough of Douglas Drainage Department prior to commencement of work on site; Exact details of the drainage layout must be provided to the Douglas Borough Council's Drainage Section for approval, prior to any work commencing on site; A Communication Fee will be payable to the Isle of Man Sewerage & Water Authority in respect of this drainage connection; There must be NO discharge of surface water (directly or indirectly) from this proposed development to any foul drainage system(s)
