1 Shen, Peiran From: Harrison, Charles Sent: 24 June 2020 11:39 To: Shen, Peiran Subject: RE: Tree Protection Plan for PA 20/00338/B Follow Up Flag: Follow up Flag Status: Flagged Hi Peiran,
Sorry for the delay in getting back to you, I wanted to go to site and double check.
I think if the method statement is followed, there will be little impact to the trees located on the grass verge adjacent to Dukes Avenue.
I would recommend the following condition;
The protection measures and construction methods detailed in the Tree Survey and Report submitted in support of the application shall be adhered to in full. No retained tree shall be cut down, uprooted, or wilfully destroyed during the development phase and thereafter within 5 years from the completion date, other than in accordance with the approved plans and particulars or as may be permitted by prior approval in writing from the Department.
Kind Regards

Good afternoon,
Thank you for the information. For the tree protection plan we would require something in more detail. It should include the following: • Construction exclusion zone; The area from which all construction activity will be excluded, including storage of materials, parking, excavation, grade changes, tracking of plan/ machinery etc. • Location of protective fencing used to mark the boundary of the CEZ (where there is a risk of encroachment); • The specification of the fencing to be used; • The access route to be used.
You can find an example in an application here, the document is titled 2000343B APL Support Docs.pdf.
Regards
