Highways Comments:
The proposal is acceptable to Highways subject to tree protection / replacement trees for the installation of the
two new spaces, and the electric vehicle charging bays being 2.6m wide to better cater for alternative in car
equipment. The increase in the number of car parking spaces by two to 24 is not considered significant.
Accordingly, Highway Services do not oppose this proposal subject to a condition:
Vehicle Space to be Laid Out: Development shall not be used until all areas shown on the approved plans to be
used by vehicles circulation and vehicle parking spaces have been fully laid out, surfaced and drained with those
for EV’s to be of 2.6m width. These areas shall not be used for any other purpose thereafter for the lifetime of
the development. Reason: To ensure the free and safe use of the highway.
