Memo produced 10.09.2018 Representation from the Department of Infrastructure (DOI) Highways Division- PA Ref 18/00845/B Planning Case Officer = Miss S E Corlett Applicant Miss Georgina Roddy & Mr Ryan Lockwood Site Address Shady Moar Shore Road Glen Maye Isle Of Man IM5 3BG Highway Services Comment made Do not oppose Highways Representation history for this case. DNO on 7-9-18 Conditions (if any) The application does not include details of the wording of condition 5 of the 88/01017/B planning approval. The application states that the site owner is retired, there is no agricultural land used for farming, and that the former agricultural building on the site was sold and converted to residential use. The dwelling that is the subject of the current application has an agricultural occupancy condition. There should be no change in the parking demand for a dwelling irrespective of whether it is used by agricultural workers, the only difference would be that additional site parking could be required for workers travelling to the site from living accommodation elsewhere. There should not be a change in vehicular trips as a result of the proposal except for future residents travelling to and from other places of work off-site which should not create a significant traffic impact. However, as the farm is no longer in use these highway issues are not applicable at the present time, so the development should not create any new highway issues. Highways Officer MB
