Design statement
During construction the applicant has advised that the french windows opening to the rear of the extension have now been repositioned to the gable end elevation. This was possible as previously the gable elevation was situated adjacent to a large garden compost area which has now been relocated. In addition a small
window has been added to the existing side elevation providing natural daylight to the new bathroom. Both of these adjustments are not visible from the public highway.
