Thank you for your letter of 25th May advising that amended plans had been received in respect of 18/00053/B Installation of replacement window to front elevation, basement office at 22, Athol Street, Douglas.
Unfortunately, your Planning System on line is down at the moment with a 'system error', so I have not been able to refresh details held on line in respect of the application.
Whoever has drawn the revised elevation is not familiar with the workings of a sliding sash window in relation to the overlap of upper and lower sashes and the position of the horns being part of the upper sash framework and not located in the corner panes in the lower sash as shown.
ALL THAT APART, GIVEN THE AGE OF THE PROPERTY AND THE STYLE OF GEORGIAN GLAZING BARS - THE WINDOWS SHOULD NOT HAVE HORNS. ANY APPROVAL GIVEN SHOULD BE SUBJECT TO A CONDITION EXCLUDING THE HORNS.
