Appeal against refusal for erection of a dwelling with driveway and parking (revised planning application for PA 14/00761/B)
The application proposed a single-storey 5-bedroom dwelling with driveway and parking on a field in the countryside at St Marks Road, St Marks, Ballasalla. It was refused by the Planning Committee due to conflict with policies protecting the countryside from new housing.
Reserved matters approval for a new town centre library, offices, 7-storey multi-storey car park with 445 spaces, and public toilets on a surface car park site in Lower Douglas, bounded by Lord Street, Fort Street, Cambrian Place and Muckles Gate. The Council of Ministers approved the application on 24 October 2013 following recommendation by Independent Inspector Ruth MacKenzie.
Erection of a replacement building providing ancillary office space, storage, guest accommodation, gymnasium and swimming pool at Meary Voar, Santon. Approved by the Planning Committee on 24th July 2012.
