The following planning applications have no significant negative impact upon the highway network in terms of highway safety, highway operation and car parking. Highway Services HDC does not oppose (DNO) the following applications. Advisory comments are applied where relevant, such as for licences to use the highway for equipment and material during works:
· 22/01550/B - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and /or parking. The Applicant is advised to consider the provision of an electric vehicle charging point to aide Active Travel and net zero objectives. Additionally, to consider widening the access to facilitate more convenient manoeuvres for which a separate permission from Highway service will be necessary under a s109(A) Highway Agreement. · 22/01554/B - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and /or parking. The Applicant is advised to consider the provision of an electric vehicle charging point to aid Active Travel and net zero objectives. · 22/01562/B - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and /or parking subject to the provision of surface water drainage. Under Manual for Manx Roads, the Applicant is advised that the proposed garage should have a minimum 6 x 6m internal dimensions and to consider the installation of an electric vehicle charging point to aid Active Travel and net zero objectives. · 23/00002/REM - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and /or parking. The Applicant is advised to consider the provision of an electric vehicle charging point to aid Active Travel and net zero objectives. · 23/00008/C - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and /or parking. The Applicant is advised to consider the provision of enclosed and secure cycle storage aid Active Travel and net zero objectives. · 23/00014/B - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and /or parking. · 23/00015/B - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and /or parking.
