Planting Notes
1.
Cherry laurel (Prunus laurocerasus) will be no less than 1.5m tall at the time
of planting and will be planted at linear spacings of approximately 1.5m
(requiring 12 plants).
2.
To suppress weeds and retain soil moisture until the shrubs are established,
the planting area will covered with a 100mm deep layer of bark mulch.
3.
For the first two growing seasons (summers) and during extended periods
without significant rainfall (7 days without significant rainfall) each shrub will be
manually watered once until the soil is saturated.
4.
Any shrubs which fail within 5 years of planting will be replaced with the same
species and stock size.
