The Planning Inspector appointed by the Council of Ministers has now considered the application and submitted his report in accordance with statute.
On 23rd March 2023 the Council of Ministers considered the recommendations of the Planning Inspector and determined to approve the application subject to the conditions specified below.

Conditions of Approval
The development hereby approved shall commence before the expiration of four years from the date of this decision.
Reason: To comply with Article 26 of the Town and Country Planning (Development Procedure) Order 2019 and to avoid the accumulation of unimplemented planning approvals.
Prior to commencement details of bat boxes to be installed need to be submitted to and approved in writing by the Department. The development shall not be carried out unless in accordance with the approved details.
Reason: in the interest of ecology
This approval relates to drawing Nos 20/3048/01 and 20/3048/02 date stamped received on 19 May 2022. Revised proposed drawing No.20/3048/03, received 2 August 2022, a Bat Survey Report received on the 10 August 2022 and additional information regarding the proposed tiles received 3 October 2022.

In accordance with statute, please be advised that the decision of the Council of Ministers is binding and final.
All parties should note that there is no prescribed right of appeal relevant to the Council’s decision herein and accordingly the only right of challenge is by a petition of doleance brought to the High Court of Justice of the Isle of Man. Such doleance proceedings required to be issued promptly and in any event within 3 months.
