Please see below explanation for the minor amendment application
After planning application 23/00240/B was approved, my clients obtained quotes for the work but unfortunately found it was far too expensive to construct. To make the project more affordable, they decided to reduce the scope of work. They have refurbished the existing kitchen and seek permission for a minor amendment to the original approval to construct a small single storey rear extension to form a dining room to compliment the refurbished kitchen. I have worked closely with my clients to try to keep the appearance of the house close to the original single storey kitchen building, using the same look and materials. The updated drawings included with this application show these minor changes.
