The following on 19 August 2022 list have some potential impact, but after being assessed in terms of highway safety, highway operation and car parking these were found to have no significant negative impact upon the highway network. Highway Services HDC does not oppose (DNO) the following applications; although some will require licences to use the highway etc. for their proposed works as indicated:
· 22/00609/B - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and /or parking. · 22/00822/B - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety and network functionality despite the loss of a parking during hours of operation. On-street space is available on a first come first served basis which may not be outside the proposal site. The Applicant is advised that highway licences may be necessary for the placing of equipment and / or materials in the highway during works. · 22/00876/B - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and /or parking. The delivery bay is safeguarded. The Applicant is advised to protect the pedestrian path adjacent the proposed single bay against obstruction of line of sight and vehicle parking, such as by a barrier and marking with yellow hatching. · 22/00890/CON - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and /or parking. The Applicant is advised that highway licences may be necessary for the placing of equipment and / or materials in the highway during works. · 22/00916/B - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and /or parking
