From the Planning List 17 June 2022, there is no Highways HDC interest (NHI) in:
· 22/00624/B · 22/00628/B · 22/00642/B · 22/00688/B · 22/00734/CON · 22/00739/B · 22/00742/B · 22/00747/B.
The following on 17 June 2022 list have some potential impact, but after being assessed in terms of highway safety, highway operation and car parking these were found to have no significant negative impact upon the highway network. Highway Services HDC does not oppose (DNO) the following applications; although some will require licences to use the highway etc. for their proposed works as indicated:
· 22/00570/B - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and /or parking. The Applicant is advised that highway licences may be necessary for use of the highway during works for equipment and materials. · 22/00638/B - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and /or parking. The case officer to note that the depth of the proposed garage is shallower than recommended at 5m instead of 6m. It would still be suitable to park a small car and / or storage, but would not count towards the parking allocation. There would remain adequate car parking provision at the site to meet the minimum IOM car parking standards of two spaces. · 22/00668/B - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and /or parking. The bicycle parking storage facility is welcomed. Electric vehicle charging points should be considered. · 22/00681/B - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and /or parking. · 22/00684/B - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and /or parking. The Applicant is advised that highway licences may be necessary for use of the highway during works for equipment and materials. · 22/00687/C - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and /or parking. The Applicant is advised to consider the installation of cycle parking storage and electric vehicle charging points.

The Applicant is advised that door must open inwards and that highway licences may be necessary for use of the highway during works for equipment and materials. · 22/00731/B - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and /or parking. The Applicant is advised that highway licences may be necessary for use of the highway during works for equipment and materials.
