From the Planning List 20 May 2022, there is no Highways HDC interest (NHI) in:
· 22/00579/B · 22/00589/B · 22/00590/B · 22/00591/B · 22/00592/CON · 22/00608/B.
The following on 20 May 2022 list have some potential impact, but after being assessed in terms of highway safety, highway operation and car parking these were found to have no significant negative impact upon the highway network. Highway Services HDC does not oppose (DNO) the following applications; although some will require licences to use the highway etc. for their proposed works as indicated:
· 22/00477/C - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and /or parking. · 22/00505/B - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and /or parking. The Applicant’s should consider providing secure and enclosed bicycle parking storage at one space per bedroom. · 22/00542/B - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and /or parking. The garage is less than the recommended internal measurements of 6 x 6m for a double version at 5.25 x 4.5m to count towards two parking spaces. Nonetheless, it would meet the requirements for one space and to allow it to serve storage for bicycles and other items. Additionally, the existing outdoor car parking space exceeds the IOM Strategic Plan two space minimum standard. The Applicant should consider the installation of an electric vehicle charging point. · 22/00545/B - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and /or parking. The Applicant should consider the installation of electric vehicle charging points for e bikes as well as cars. · 22/00546/B - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and /or parking. The Applicant should consider the installation of electric vehicle charging points for e bikes as well as cars. · 22/00560/B - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and /or parking given the reduction is number of bedrooms from 15 under PA19/00554/B to the proposed of 7 one bedroom units. HDC confirms that the advance variable message signs are to be replaced and upgraded. · 22/00627/C - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and /or parking. The Applicant should consider the installation of storage for bicycle parking and electric vehicle chagrining points. · 22/00572/B - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and /or parking. The Applicant is advised the there may be need for highway licences for equipment and materials to be placed on the highway during the proposed works. · 22/00576/B - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and /or parking. · 22/00580/B - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and /or parking. If appropriate, please repeat condition 2 parking and turning of PA21/00336/B with the approved plan updated to P-005. Additionally, details for cycle parking are necessary to be submitted, approved and agreed as well as for the installation any electric vehicle charging points. · 22/00582/B - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and /or parking. · 22/00614/B - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and /or parking. The Applicant is advised the there may be need for highway licences for equipment and materials to be placed on the highway during the proposed works. · 22/00632/D - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and /or parking.
