Two public consultations have been held to develop the proposed option. Initially a signalised junction was proposed, but based on public feedback and further discussions with adjacent landowners we were able to secure consents required for a roundabout option and this is now the preferred option. A subsequent consultation was held on the roundabout option with generally positive feedback. To the east the bypass works have been approved under separate planning application PA 19/00137/B.
