From the Planning List 8 April 2022, there is no Highways HDC interest (NHI) in:
· 22/00176/B · 22/00314/B · 22/00315/B · 22/00340/B · 22/00357/B · 22/00360/B · 22/00386/B · 22/00387/B · 22/00393/B · 22/00395/B · 22/00398/B · 22/00400/B · 22/00401/B · 22/00406/B · 22/00408/B · 22/00415/B · 22/00422/B · 22/00437/B.
The following on 8 April 2022 list have some potential impact, but after being assessed in terms of highway safety, highway operation and car parking these were found to have no significant negative impact upon the highway network. Highway Services HDC does not oppose (DNO) the following applications; although some will require licences to use the highway etc. for their proposed works as indicated:
· 22/00270/C - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and /or parking. · 22/00331/B - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and /or parking. It is believed that this application is wrongly assigned and described. It appears to be a reserve matters or a full application for approval after appeal for PA 20/00955/A. Should this not be the case please re-consult. Notwithstanding, the details submitted satisfy the pedestrian and vehicle related requirements. It considers bicycle parking but does not install a storage facility which is somewhat disappointing. It is acknowledged that this is not a requirement of policy or a condition. The Applicant should consider installing an electric vehicle charging point. · 22/00371/B - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and /or parking.

It is considered doubtful that the existing garage is / was used for car parking and on-street parking occurs.
