From the Planning List 11 March 2022, there is no highways HDC interest (NHI) in:

The following on 11 March 2022 list have some potential impact, but after being assessed in terms of highway safety, highway operation and car parking these were found to have no significant negative impact upon the highway network. Highway Services HDC does not oppose (DNO) the following applications; although some will require licences to use the highway etc. for their proposed works as indicated:
· 22/00208/B - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and /or parking with the proposed access arrangements being similar to PA 19/01063/B. It is noted that condition 6 of 19/01063/B requires the provision of access prior to any operation or occupation. If appropriate and Planning minded to approve, this condition should be repeated and the temporary arrangements provided for a period no longer than three years to ensure timely development of the dwelling. The temporary arrangements to be removed and reinstated should no work on the dwelling and its permanent access ensue. · 22/00220/C - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and /or parking subject to Douglas BC being satisfied on waste bin storage arrangements. Additionally, the submission includes bicycle parking which is welcomed. It should be of a semi-vertical or gas propelled vertical type and it would be prudent for additional details to be submitted. · 22/00222/B - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and /or parking. The Applicant is advised to consider the provision of bicycle parking and an electric vehicle charging point. · 22/00225/B - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and /or parking. There is limited exit visibility due to the position at the corner, but the opening is in keeping with other

similar facilities nearby and hardstanding for parking approved previously, ref: 18/00286/B. The submission includes the provision of an electric vehicle charging point which is welcomed. Separate agreement / licences may be necessary with Highways for use of the highway during works. · 22/00226/B - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and /or parking. The Applicant is advised to consider the provision of cycle parking and an electric vehicle charging point. · 22/00231/C - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and /or parking. The Applicant is advised to consider the provision of electric vehicle charging points. · 22/00240/B - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and /or parking. · 22/00245/B - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and /or parking. · 22/00277/B - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and /or parking. The Applicant is advised that highway licences may be necessary for the use of the highway during works. · 22/00282/B - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and /or parking. Keyll Lhiarjee is a private street and the alteration is likely to make for more convenient manoeuvring without comprising public safety. · 22/00284/A - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and /or parking subject to submission of further details at reserve matters stage, including access and parking. Although it is noted that access, parking and turning appear to be retained, yet are unchecked on the application form. The Applicant is advised to consider the provision of an electric vehicle charging point. · 22/00288/C - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and /or parking. The Applicant is advised to consider the provision of cycle parking. · 22/00289/GB - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and /or parking. The Applicant is advised that a highway licence may be necessary for use of the highway during works.
