The application site is zoned for light industrial purposes in the Douglas Local Plan 1998. The proposal is change the use of a recently building industrial unit for vehicle service centre purposes. The proposal would be an appropriate use of an industrial unit. It is recommended that planning permission be granted subject to conditions.
