General Policy 2
GP2 permits development in accordance with land-use zoning provided it respects the site and surroundings (siting, layout, scale, form, design), does not adversely affect character, amenity, road safety or traffic flows, and provides safe access. The officer tested the widened access against these criteria, finding minor visual change to the street scene and improved safer access satisfying part (h), with no adverse impacts on amenity or highways.
Time limit
The development hereby permitted shall commence before the expiration of four years from the date of this notice.
Approved plans
This approval relates to the widening of the existing vehicular access at 2 Queens Drive, Peel as shown by the plans and information Location Plan, Site Plan and Photographs submitted and date stamped 8th September 2008.
Gate posts
The new gate posts to be erected either side of the widened driveway shall be to the same construction and dimensions as the existing gate posts.
