Environment Policy 36
Requires that development outside but close to a Conservation Area boundary will only be permitted where it will not detrimentally affect important views into and out of the Conservation Area. The officer assessed the temporary building's visual impact given its proximity to the Peel Conservation Area along East Quay. The temporariness and sympathetic materials were judged sufficient to avoid detrimental effect.
