The proposed antennas are relatively minor and are needed as part of the Digital Switchover. The proposal will not adversely affect the visual amenities of the locality. I therefore recommend that planning permission be granted subject to conditions.

C 1. The development hereby permitted shall commence before the expiration of four years from the date of this notice.

C 2. This permission relates to the installation of antennas as shown in drawing numbers DO.P2-27151 Sheet 1 of 2 Rev 2, DO.P2-27151 Sheet 2 of 2 Rev 1.A, DO.E1-20641 Sheet 1 of 1 Rev 1 and location plan date stamped 1 July 2008, Supporting Letter from Arqiva dated 30 June 2008, Declaration of Confirmty with ICNIRP Public Exposure Guidelines dated 26th June 2008.

C 3. In the event of the antennas erected under this approval becoming redundant they must be taken down along with all ancillary infrastructure and be removed from the site within 3 months of the cessation their use.
