The proposed front windows accord with Planning Circular 1/98 and would not adversely affect the character and appearance of the Conservation Area.

The proposed rear windows do not accord with Planning Circular 1/98 in that the proposed windows do not match the existing windows, in terms of style; however, there are similar windows in the rear of these properties to that proposed. The windows will not be visible from a public thoroughfare and will not adversely affect the visual amenities of the locality. I therefore recommend that planning permission be granted subject to conditions.
