Site The site represents the residential curtilage of Capel Glen, Pinfold Hill, Laxey, which is a two storey detached property, located on the eastern side of Pinfold Hill.
Land Use Zoning The site has been zoned under the Laxey and Lonan Local Plan as being within an area of predominately residential use, the site is not within a Conservation Area.
Planning History There are no previous planning applications which are considered relevant in the assessment and determination of this application.
Proposal The application seeks approval for the creation of French doors.
The Authority has received no private representations objecting to the application.
The proposal is a very minor alteration which will have no impact upon the residential amenity of the neighbouring properties, nor have an adverse impact upon the visual appearance of the street scene and/or upon the property itself.
For these reasons the proposal would be appropriate in this location and therefore my recommendation is for an approval.
I consider that the following meet the criteria of Government Circular 1/06 and should be afforded interested party status:

The development hereby permitted shall commence before the expiration of four years from the date of this notice.
