ISLE OF MAN PLANNING SCHEME (DEVELOPMENT PLAN) ORDER 1982 08/00841/B - INSTALLATION OF DISABLED ACCESS RAMPS, SUNKEN GARDENS LOCH PROMENADE, DOUGLAS ISLE OF MAN. IM1 2BT

Douglas Corporation acting as the agent for the Department of Transport, under the Sewerage Act 1999 has no objection in principle to the above application, subject to the following.

The location of the proposed access ramp, opposite the Rochester apartment block is situated over a 'live' 600mm diameter public sewer overflow pipeline. The applicant has been provided with a sewer record plan and manhole record card highlight depth and horizontal alignment.

The applicant has provided assurances that consideration will be given to this asset during the detailed design and construction process. The applicant must provide a RA/MS to the Borough of Douglas Drainage Department for approval prior to any work commencing on site.
