Mobile Classroom a Kewaigue School

This planning application is a re-submission of application 03/01741/B (approved 8/1/2004) which expired on 31st December 2007.

The reasons for resubmission, rather than removal, are exactly the same as the information given in the submission of the second mobile classroom (06/01529/B) approved on 23rd January 2007. This information is detailed below.

• The need for the proposed Mobile has come about partly due to a rise in the number of pupils attending the School and partly due to changes in the methods used to deliver the curriculum which demands more space.
• At present the length of time that the mobile will be required is unknown. There are no immediate plans to extend the existing school building, however in light of this application consideration will be given for the inclusion of a 2 classroom extension in the capital programme.

Should approval be granted we would request that the same conditions applied to PA No 06/01529/B be applied, so that approval for both mobiles will expire at the same time ( 23rd January 2012)?
